
SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for the supervision of the Deposit Operations, Credit Card, and Merchant Bankcard associates, currently 11 people. Also responsible for ensuring the department is running efficiently, staffing and training are appropriate, and any production issues or personnel matters are handled properly.
REQUIREMENTS:
• The ideal candidate will have an extensive supervisory background; having managed various work styles and people. Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience is required.
• A college degree is preferred.
• Must have good oral and written communication skills.
• Should be able to manage a department and run a team as a cohesive unit. This may involve conducting periodic staff meetings and/or some other frequent communication to the department.
• Must possess proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite- Word, Excel, Access, etc.
• Knowledge of bank operations and documentation is preferred.
PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Provide supervision of assigned associates within Deposit Operations, Credit Card, and Merchant Bankcard.
• Conduct ongoing and annual performance evaluations on associates and enforce personnel policies and guidelines.
• Work with associates on career development, including arranging cross-training within department to further knowledge and interest.
• Track attendance and review and approve payroll.
• Conduct regular staff meetings to keep associates apprised of changes and activities going on in other areas of the bank.
• Coordinate with the various Deposit Operations Supervisors on new processes or initiatives that will be implemented in the department.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned by the COO.
