 Requirements

Education: 4-Year Degree with Finance or Business Administration concentration preferred.
Experience: 3 - 5 years of commercial and consumer lending experience.

Requirements:

- Possess in-depth knowledge of commercial lending, including the ability to evaluate cash flow and collateral.
- Ability to handle confidential or proprietary information.
- Possess excellent communication skills, oral and written.
- Possess a thorough understanding of loan laws and regulations.

Principle Accountabilities:


- The Business Development Officer is expected to retain existing customers and develop new business.
- Conduct customer and prospect calls to produce a revenue generating business for the Bank.
- Develop a prospect list on predetermined profitable business relationships and keep this list updated.
- Follow up on prospects on a continual basis.
- Work with the Supervisor and local Branch staff to obtain referrals and information to assist in calling efforts.
- Go on joint calls with local Branch Managers and Office Managers.
- Prepare loan and deposit documentation for closed sales.
- Develop and research small business prospects.
- Communicate effectively with other Bank Associates.
- Work closely with one or more assigned Branches in meeting the assigned goals for each respective Branch.
